Connection and control

How it works

Connecting B2M - MCP to your Amazon account is a short, standard and reversible process. This page explains what happens at each step, which data the software can and cannot read, and how you stay in control of the authorization at all times.

Authorization through your own Seller Central

B2M - MCP connects to your Amazon account through the Amazon Selling Partner API using the standard authorization flow that Amazon provides for third-party applications. The authorization happens inside your own Amazon Seller Central session: you review the permissions the application requests, and you approve or decline them there.

At no point do you share your Amazon password, security codes or any other credential with us. There are no APIs to request on your side, no developer configuration and no technical setup: the authorization flow is the entire process. Once you approve it, the connection is active and your workspace starts filling with your data.

What data is read — and what is not

What it reads

The authorization covers a defined set of business data, aligned with the functional areas described on the features page:

  • Catalog and listing content of your products
  • Orders at business level: identifiers, statuses, quantities and channels
  • Inventory levels, in your account, in FBA and in AWD
  • Prices and offer competitiveness information for your listings
  • Financial events, fees and settlement data of your account
  • Account health and seller performance information
  • Shipment statuses for logistics tracking

What it never reads

And there is data that B2M - MCP never reads, by design:

  • Buyer personal information: names, delivery addresses, phone numbers or email addresses
  • Tax invoicing data
  • Your Amazon login credentials, which are never shared with us in the first place

Revoking access at any time

You can withdraw the authorization whenever you want, directly from Seller Central, in the section where Amazon lists the applications you have authorized. Revocation takes effect immediately: from that moment B2M - MCP can no longer read any data from your account.

After revocation, the data already processed for your workspace is handled according to our privacy policy: we retain it only for the limited period described there and then delete it, or we delete it earlier if you request it.
